If you use the contact form then that collects whatever information you put in it such as your name, email address, phone number and message. That is emailed to us where we treat it as per our policy below.;
As a potential, current or previous client of Your Tech Department Ltd, we may hold information about your company which may include data relating to you or your staff members. “Personal information” we commonly hold encompasses:
- Staff names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers.
General & Company Information
In addition to this Personal Information, we may hold information on:
- Company address and other contact details
- Your computer systems
- Passwords you have given us or asked us to create or hold
- Financial transactions relating to business between us, e.g. invoices
- Notes on support jobs requests, performed or planned
3rd Party Information Processors
Since we use external suppliers for services like email, accounting software, backup, file-storage, ticket management, computer monitoring etc, some of your data, possibly including Personal Information, may be held on “cloud service” providers.
We will never sell your data. We will never knowingly pass on your Personal or Company data to any 3rd party other than in the process of storing that information as part of undertaking our normal business activities. We do our best to ensure that our own suppliers who may be handling your data also do not pass it on or expose it to unnecessary risks.
At present, we do not send sales or marketing emails or literature to our clients. If we plan to do so in the future, we will ask for your explicit permission to do so.
We keep as much data on current clients as we need to provide our services. We also keep minimal data from previous clients for a period of time so as to be able to assist better should they contact us again. Should we do no further business after 6 months, this data is deleted. However we will keep financial accounting data for the period prescribed by law.
If you have given us information then you may ask us to tell you what information we hold on you staff and we will provide it within 28 days. You may ask us to delete any or all information we hold, other than the data we are required by law to hold (e.g. accounting data). If you have merely looked at our website you cannot ask us for data since we don’t have anything that identifies you.
